6,5 meter mahogany  “runabout”

About 12 years ago I designed and built this classic mahogany runabout. The design is inspired by the classic runabouts of the past like the Italian Riva Ariston and American Garwood, Hacker Craft and Chris Craft runabouts. The runabout is built on frames with a 16mm thick skin of plywood and mahogany. The engine is a classic American GM350 V8. The boat has a cockpit for 5 persons with a large sunbed aft. The engine is placed under the sunbed.
